President and Chief Executive Officer

Jim brings over 20 years of experience in corporate management of advanced technology business ventures to his role as President of Waterloo Maple Inc. Prior to joining Waterloo Maple, Jim held a number of high technology senior positions such as Worldwide Director for Intelligent Networks with Sema Group Wireless; Divisional Manager at SGI, a world renowned 3D graphics company; and Development Manager at CAE, makers of advanced aircraft flight simulators.

In addition, Jim has successfully developed a number of high technology startups, including Puppetworks.com, makers of motion capture devices for the 3D animation industry; Alias-Eclipse for Alias-Wavefront, creator of high-end image editing software; and ISTEC, manufacturer of gyro-stabilized camera pods used extensively in the entertainment industry.

Jim graduated on the Dean's honor list from the University of Waterloo in 1980 with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
